Oxandrolone Use

Oxandrolone is taken orally. The recommended dose is 5 to 10 mg per day for females. If the body responds well to it, that can be bumped up to no more than 20 mpg per day. This can continue for up to 4 weeks. Then take 2 weeks off and repeat the 4 week cycle. Males tend to use a much higher dose of Oxandrolone. They often start out with 20 to 30 mg per day and then bump it up to 40 or 50 mpg per day. Some men use 80 mg to 100 mg per day but that does significantly increase the risk of side effects.
